MORNING OATMEAL

MORNING OATMEAL:
QUICK HACK: If using instant oatmeal, just add 1 tsp of Fun Earth mushroom powder of choice. Mix it in, and Voila! Additional wellness added to those oats.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water or milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: almond butter, chai seeds, almonds, blueberries, strawberries, honey or brown sugar, dash of cinnamon

Instructions:

  • Combine Oats and Liquid: In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats, water or milk, 1 tsp of Fun Earth mushroom powder and a pinch of salt. Stir to mix everything together.
  • Heat: Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Simmer: Once it’s boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the oats simmer. Continue to stir occasionally to prevent sticking or forming lumps.
  • Cook to Desired Consistency: Cook the oatmeal for about 5-10 minutes or until it reaches your desired consistency. If you prefer it thicker, cook it longer. If you like it thinner, add more liquid.
  • Serve: Once your oatmeal has reached the desired consistency, remove it from the heat. You can sweeten it with honey or brown sugar. Then top it with fresh fruit, nuts, chia seeds, almond butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon, as desired.
