Proposition 65 Warning

At Fun Earth Company, we care deeply about the health and safety of our customers. California’s Proposition 65 requires companies to provide warnings on products that may expose consumers to certain chemicals, even when the exposure levels are within legal limits.

We are committed to transparency and ensuring that our customers are fully informed about any potential exposure.

What is this warning?

Proposition 65 (Prop 65) is a California law that requires businesses to inform consumers about products containing certain chemicals that may cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Although the levels of these chemicals are often well below legal limits, companies must provide this warning if exposure exceeds very low levels.

Prop 65 warnings are common on a variety of products and locations throughout California, including grocery stores, restaurants, and supplements.

Should I be worried?

The presence of this warning does not mean that our product is unsafe. Lead and other chemicals listed under Prop 65 can naturally occur in the environment, including in water, soil, and plants. Our products are tested for quality and safety, and they comply with all Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards.

The list of chemicals covered by Prop 65 is extensive, including substances like Vitamin A, Green Tea (tannins), and Coffee (Acrylamide). We provide this warning in compliance with California regulations, and our goal is to empower our customers to make informed decisions.

Many of the substances listed under Prop 65 are naturally occurring and beneficial at the right doses. The law is designed to inform consumers about potential risks when substances exceed safe limits, but it doesn’t necessarily mean these substances are harmful in the context they are typically consumed.

Why don’t all similar products have the same warning?

Some similar products may not display this warning for several reasons. Certain companies may not be subject to the same regulations, or they may have decided not to provide the warning despite the risk of inconsistent enforcement of Prop 65. Even if a product doesn’t carry the warning, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s free from these substances.

What’s next?

We’re continuously monitoring regulatory guidelines and product safety standards to ensure we remain compliant. Adding this warning is a precautionary measure to help protect our company and inform you, even though the levels of these chemicals in our products are very low.
